SOUND FAMILIAR?

You Love Your Dog. But Right Now, Life With Them is Hard.

You have tried YouTube videos, asked friends for advice, maybe even hired a trainer before. But nothing has stuck. The behaviour keeps coming back, and you are running out of ideas.

OUR APPROACH

We Fix the Cause Not Just the Symptoms

Most trainers will tell you what to do. We ensure you understand why your dog is doing what they are doing. When you understand the reason behind the behaviour, training actually makes sense, and the results are long lasting.

Assessment

We start with a thorough assessment to understand your dog, their triggers, and your goals. No cookie cutter plans here.

Tailored Plan

Our trainers build a training program around your dog’s specific needs, explaining the why behind every step so you actually understand what you are doing.

Training Sessions

Hands on, real world training sessions where you learn practical skills you can use immediately. We train for the environment your dog struggles in.

Ongoing Support

We do not just send you on your way. Our team provides ongoing support between sessions so you are never left guessing what to do next.

WHAT WE OFFER

Training & Grooming Services

Whether your dog needs behaviour support, a confidence boost, or a fresh groom, we have got you covered. Every service is designed around your dog’s individual needs.

Private Training

One on one sessions tailored to yours and your dog’s specific needs, goals and challenges. Our trainers assess the root cause and build a plan that works for your life.

  • We cover a wide range of behavioural challenges including aggression and reactivity, anxiety, lead pulling, jumping, barking, separation issues, recall and loose lead walking issues as well as the all important puppy development. If your dog is struggling with it, chances are we have helped other families through the same thing.

  • Your session starts with a detailed assessment where our trainers dig deep into how you live with your dog at home, to get to the root cause of the problems. We look at the why behind the behaviours, what you have tried in the past, and what you want to achieve. From there, we design a bespoke training plan specific to you and your dog.

  • All sessions are held at our indoor training center in Coolum Beach, in the safety and comfort of a controlled environment. This allows us to focus entirely on you and your dog without uncontrolled distractions.

  • Absolutely. The human end of the leash is just as important as the dog. Our trainers provide clear, step by step guidance and ongoing support for both you and your dog so you can make real change and see real world results.

Group Training

Structured group classes for socialisation and obedience in a supportive, judgement free community. Great for dogs who need to learn to focus around distractions while building confidence.

  • We run Puppy Classes (for pups aged 8 to 16 weeks), as well as Dog Training across three levels (Level 1, 2, and 3), and Life Skills Classes. Puppy classes focus on socialisation, basic obedience, and addressing common puppy issues like biting, jumping, and toilet training. All our group classes run for one hour per week over six weeks in small groups of no more than ten dogs per class. We also run off lead group socialisation classes once a month in our enclosed indoor training center. A safe place for your dogs to run and play while learning how to interact appropriately with other dogs under the guidance of our expert trainers.

  • Life Skills is our real world training classes held at various Sunshine Coast locations including cafes, beaches, and busy streets. It is a drop in format designed to help your dog generalise their training to the environments where it actually matters. Work your way through all our levels and this is where you end up, proofing real world distractions and practicing real world activities!

  • Dogs in group classes do need to be human and dog social. If your dog is reactive or nervous around other dogs, we would recommend starting with private training first. Once they are ready, group classes are a brilliant next step.

  • Our group classes are built around a supportive, judgement free community. It is a place where every win gets celebrated, no matter how small and every human and dog is given the support they need to find success.

Dog Sports

Channel your dog's energy into something productive and fun. Our sport dog club, Dynamic Dogs Unleashed, is designed for pet dog owners looking to try dog sports without the pressure of competition.

  • We currently offer three sports: Rally, which combines tricks, obedience, and jumps; Scent Work, which taps into your dog's natural instincts; and Barrel Racing, a fast paced activity that builds focus, body awareness, and responsiveness.

  • Rally and scent work starts with a foundational course to build the skills needed within the sport, then moves into drop in weekly classes to continue to build those skills and level up. Barrel Racing begins with a 2 hour workshop and then continues with drop in classes.

  • Not at all. Our club is designed for pet dog owners who want to have fun with their dogs. There is no pressure to compete. That said, if you do want to pursue competition, there is a path to ANKC trials available, as well as casual in club trials. We also hold barrel racing competitions twice a year on a local farm, complete with a camping weekend.

  • Scent Work in particular is suitable for all dogs, including reactive, nervous, or overexcited dogs. Many problem behaviours actually stem from a lack of mental stimulation, and dog sports provide a constructive outlet for that energy.

Dog Grooming

Low stress, honest grooming where your dog's wellbeing comes first. We keep you informed about how your dog handles the process and work to make every visit a positive experience.

  • Our groomer Georgina prioritises your dog's comfort and wellbeing above everything else. We provide honest feedback about how your dog handled the grooming experience, rather than just handing back a pretty dog and keeping quiet about any stress.

  • We offer personalised grooming tailored to your dog's coat type, temperament, and individual needs. Every groom is approached with your dog's comfort as the top priority. Be it a de-shed, puppy experience, maintenance or a full clip we have your dog’s needs covered.

  • Yes. Because we are a dog training facility first, our grooming approach is informed by our understanding of dog behaviour. We work to make every visit as low stress as possible, and we will always be upfront with you about how your dog is coping.

  • As long as your puppy has had their first vaccinations they can begin their grooming experiences. These sessions are designed to get them used to the sounds and surfaces in the grooming room while coming out looking amazing, learning all about the bath, dryer, table, brushes and combs are important puppy experiences, then when it comes to their first full groom they will be pros! The first steps to becoming Georgina’s best friend!

GOT QUESTIONS?

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are based in Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

  • We train in our indoor training center, no issues with weather stopping us from training! When your dog is ready for the added distractions we head on out into the real world!

  • Absolutely. Reactive dogs are actually the biggest part of our business. Our trainers specialise in understanding the root cause of reactivity and building a plan to address it. If your dog has bitten before, we can still help.

  • Not at all. Dogs can learn at any age. While puppies are a blank canvas, older dogs respond brilliantly to the right approach. We have worked with dogs of all ages and seen incredible results.

  • Most training fails because it only addresses the symptoms, not the cause. We start with a thorough assessment to understand why your dog is behaving the way they are, then build a plan around that. We also provide ongoing support so you are never left guessing.

  • It depends on your dog and your goals. After the initial assessment, our trainers will give you a clear idea of what the training program looks like and likely outcomes. Some dogs see significant improvement in just a few sessions, while others benefit from a longer program.

  • Yes, we groom all breeds and sizes. Our groomer Georgina specialises in creating a low stress experience, particularly for anxious dogs. We are also very popular with Oodle breeds like Cavoodles and Groodles. Georgina also loves a good de-shed on those thick double coated dogs!

  • You can book online through our website or give our admin Maggie a call. There will then be some paperwork to complete to make sure you and your dog get everything you need, and then you are away!
